Dr Dindar was born and bred in a little town in Mpumalanga. At an early age he recognised the need for eye care within his community. He thus focused his goals on becoming an ophthalmologist. He graduated at the University of the Witwatersrand and went on to complete his community service in Standerton in an effort to give back to his community. Thereafter he attained his fellowship with the College of Ophthalmologist of South Africa. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr Dindar has keen interests in multiple areas including cataract and refractive surgery, corneal/anterior segment disease/surgery, glaucoma and retinal disease/surgery. He maintains a motto that “everyone has the right to sight”.
Influenced by his past, he also takes part, amongst others, in cataract camps for the underprivileged.
