Our doctors play a leading role in academia , sharing their expertise and helping to train the next generation of ophthalmologists. Both of our doctors work at St Johns Eye Hospital (Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital) and the University of Witwatersrand. In order to provide this high level of excellence our doctors have completed post graduate qualifications: 6 years at medical school, 1year internship, 1 year community service, 1-2 years as ophthalmic medical officer, 4 years of specialist training.
As part of our commitment to education, our doctors are part of the core faculty at the University of Witwatersrand and train the next generation of ophthalmologist.
